Green-Fly Media and the Chinsegut Conservation Center are offering an opportunity for youngsters who enjoy photography to hone their skills. During this two day “boot camp” participants will learn camera modes, settings and ample opportunities to photograph a variety of scenes and wildlife around the Chinsegut Wildlife and Environmental Area. This program is for ages 12-16, requires pre-registration and a fee.
For youth who are interested in photography this class will have something for every interest area from portraits to landscape and fine art. During the first day camera setting and modes will be introduced. On the second day participants will get to exercise their creative and artistic talent while being introduced to different styles of photography. Each participant will also get to take home a leaf and branch shadow box, a booklet with modes and settings as a reminder and their favorite photos as prints. Lots of great experiences will be included in this “boot camp”. Beginning Photography Bootcamp for Adults…. Register free for this $10 workshop. Are you new to Photography or just confused about the camera modes and technical names?
Your first camera is exciting for those photography enthusiasts, learning EVERYTHING can be super confusing and frustrating.
This is a ONE DAY photography boot camp for those who are interested in learning about basic camera settings and what those settings do.
We will be learning about Shutter Speed, F-Stop and ISO, and be taking a photo hike adventure around Chinsegut Conservation Center trails and of course some take home projects.
Please bring your camera… if you are using a different brand other than Canon, please bring your manual.

Retired SWFWMD geologist and long time Chinsegut volunteer Mike Kelley will rock your world with interesting rock facts about the various layers below Florida’s land surface. This event is co-hosted by Green-Fly Media who will be offering a fun DINO ATTACK photo session beginning at 11:00 AM. Registration is not required. See a collection of Florida rocks and fossils and don’t forget to bring along the camera for some creative photography fun.
