Early Morning Birding

Posted on

* This early morning workshop is the best opportunity for bird photographers to enjoy a wide variety of birds that surround Chinsegut Conservation Center.

Note.. the FWC website event calendar has the workshop listed at 7am… the workshop begins at 8am however, I will be there at 7am for those early, early birds!

Understanding the habits of birds also helps when taking pictures. The first 30 minutes of this workshop we will touch on those habits such as posture, movement, flight pattern, feeding pattern and flocking.

Camera settings change throughout the day, learning about adjusting those settings are important to capturing your best photo, however focus points and tapping into your creative side of photography is just as important. This workshop will cover those settings and focus points.

Bring your camera and other equipment you may need and please dress for a hike around Mays’ Prairie and wear sturdy shoes.

Workshop begins at 8am…those that wish to review photos and help with bird identification are welcome to stay until 1pm.
