Wed December 13 | 8pm – 12am | FREE

On December 13th over 100 meteors per hour will be crossing over the night sky. According to records, the Geminid Meteor shower is nearly 200 years old. The first shower was observed from a riverboat on the Mississippi River in 1833.

If you love starry nights join us for a late night photography workshop. If you are interested in learning how create those amazing star trails… this is the workshop for you.

Those that wish to learn about camera settings, editing in Lightroom or Photoshop there will be a one hour workshop prior to hike at 7pm. A $5 donation to the center would be very much appreciated.


Bring camera, tripod, camera remote (optional). Where long pants and closed toed shoes.

Bug spray, water and a snack.
