A pleasant hike on the Nature Center Loop as we detour to the Cypress Walk trail to visit the basin and viewing blind. This is where we will photograph beautiful scenic landscapes for the postcards and in hopes there will be plenty of wading birds to add to the scenery.

Its Bat appreciation week and nature photographers this is a great opportunity to show your appreciation to these awesome insect eating creatures of the night. Bats are a tremendous help in our ecosystem. Just one single bat can eat hundreds of insects in a night and with over 13 resident species in Florida that’s a great pest control system!

Photographing bats can be difficult, timing is a challenge as well as lighting… participants will learn using different settings in manual mode to accomplish action and creative captures. bATS
